O Gospel Music Association (GMA) anunciou na quinta-feira (23) os indicados ao 43º Dove Awards, o grande prêmio da música gospel, que acontece anualmente nos EUA.
Entre os artistas indicados, estão Casting Crowns, Jason Crabb, Laura Story, Lecrae e The Isaacs. Na categoria de novos artistas estão Jamie-Grace, Dara Maclean, Royal Tailor, Beyond The Ashes e The City Harmonic.
Os indicados foram anunciados no hotel The Georgian Terrace pelo ganhador do Grammy Montell Jordan.
“A GMA está animada para voltar a homenagear os artistas, compositores e criadores nossa comunidade por meio do 43º GMA Dove Awards”, disse Jackie Patillo, diretor executivo da GMA.
“Este evento não só celebra grandes trabalhos, mas fornece uma plataforma para a nossa missão de divulgar, promover, e celebrar o evangelho por meio da música”, acrescentou.
Este ano novamente a cidade de Atlanta vai sediar pela segunda vez o evento no Teatro Fox, em 19 de abril.
No ano passado Sherri Shperd organizou um show transmitido pela TV que registrou 1,5 milhão de telespectadores.
