Nesta quarta-feira, dia 22/4, a cantora Soraya Moraes chegou aos Estados Unidos para participar da cerimônia de premiação do GMA Dove Awards, que será realizada nesta quinta-feira, dia 23/4, em Nashville-TN, mais conhecida como “Cidade da Música”. O prêmio, promovido pela Gospel Music Association, contempla os destaques na música gospel americana. Confira a lista dos indicados.
A cantora concorre ao maior prêmio da música cristã norte-americana na categoria “Spanish Language Album”, com o CD “Tengo Sed de Ti”, já consagrado no Grammy Latino como o “Melhor Álbum Cristão em Língua Espanhola”.
Produzido por Marco Moraes, esposo de Soraya, o trabalho é considerado uma versão em espanhol do CD “Deixa O Teu Rio Me Levar”, com o qual a cantora conquistou quatro estatuetas no Troféu Talento 2005, Disco de Ouro e, para completar, o Grammy Latino 2005 de Melhor Álbum Cristão em Língua Portuguesa.
Para garantir a qualidade da produção, a Line Records contratou os serviços de assessoria especializada da empresa Idiomas e Cia. e contou com a orientação de equipes da Rádio CVC de Miami e de colaboradores da Guatemala e Porto Rico. A indicação ao GMA Dove Awards é a prova de que o investimento valeu a pena.
Promovido pela Gospel Music Association, o prêmio contempla, desde 1969, artistas, produtores e compositores que se destacam na música gospel americana. É considerado o mais importante do mundo para o setor e recebe total atenção da mídia e de empresas que investem na associação de suas marcas à transmissão da festividade ao vivo e em cadeia nacional.
